Timi grew up in Rockledge and graduated from Merritt Island Christian School. She spent her high school weekends and summers working at Clayton’s Crab Company. The first in her family to attend College, she graduated from Cumberland College in 1989. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1992. Timi chose to return home to Brevard County. With over 30 years of legal experience, Timi excelled in government employment and private practice. Timi has worked at the Kentucky Court of Appeals, SunTrust Bank, The Office of the Public Defender, and as a Senior Attorney with the Department of Children and Families (where she protected Florida’s most vulnerable children). During this time, she started a family, adopted more than a dozen cats and dogs, became a mother, and survived Breast Cancer.

In 2004, Timi founded the law firm, Timi Tucker, P.A. now Tucker Mitnik, P.A., where she’s helped thousands of people with a wide variety of legal matters including civil litigation, family law, injunctions, and criminal law. Having tried over twenty-five jury trials here in Brevard County, Timi has unparalleled experience that sets her apart from the rest. In addition to maintaining Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV Preeminent rating, she has received hundreds of outstanding reviews from her clients and peers.

Timi was elected to serve as President of the Brevard County Bar Association in 2011. Timi has served on the Florida Institute of Technology Pre-Law Advisory Board, Women’s Center Board, Make-A-Wish Board, and the Board of Directors of Legal Aid. Timi currently serves on the Eckerd Connect Advisory Council.

Timi DeAnn Tucker provides both trial experience and trustworthy leadership. Her primary concern is justice for the people of Brevard County.
